Dahl Memorial Hospital is proud to introduce our enhanced ambulance service, a key feature of our commitment to superior healthcare for Carter County and beyond. In January 2024, we welcomed Paramedics Rebekah Hopkins and Travis Doggett, whose expertise has significantly raised the standard of emergency care in our community.

Previously, our EMS system operated at a Basic Life Support (BLS) level, providing essential care with dedication and skill. However, the addition of our new paramedics has transformed our service capabilities. Through relentless effort, our EMS team, in collaboration with the Dahl Memorial Healthcare Association, has advanced to a Limited Advanced Life Support (ALS) level.

This upgrade allows us to offer the highest level of emergency care available in Montana's 911 system. Our paramedics can now administer advanced medications and perform sophisticated procedures on-site, ensuring critical care is delivered even before patients reach the hospital.

We currently provide dedicated 911 ALS service from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. While there may be delays outside these hours due to our limited paramedic staff, we are continuously working to enhance our availability.
